Terry and Amy Burns - flood relief

Just a quick update for everyone. I spoke with Terry today. He asked me to manage the flow of funds to him and Amy so I just wanted to be transparent with everyone making donations on how the funds will be spent.

The house has been gutted and the walls mostly returned to the studs. Funds are needed to clean, disinfect, and remove any mold from the remaining structure. New drywall and flooring will be installed, then appliances, furnishings, etc., can be purchased and installed. This is all going to take some time, but the process has already started. Obviously, there are out-of-pocket expenses that will not be covered by insurance or FEMA for which these funds can be used.

Although things are bad, they could have been so much worse. All they lost was "stuff," and that can be replaced. On behalf of Terry and Amy, thank you to everyone who has sent donations as well as thoughts and prayers. They are truly thankful for everyone's outpouring of support.
