My friend Terri's daughter Jessica-Jayde was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, Ewings Sarcoma in May 2011, after years of invasive chemo, 7 weeks of radiotherapy and a massive op removing her collar bone and 2 ribs and being under 7 hospitals at one point, she beat cancer twice.
Sadly she relapsed in August 2015 and bravely lived for 20 months knowing she was terminal. Terri's beautiful brave and inspirational girl finally gained her wings on 11/04/2017
Her bravery was so inspiring, helping children, teenagers/young adults and adults, suffering from cancer, chronic illnesses and mental illnesses.
This is our 5th appeal in Jess's memory, we didn't know if it would be possible this year due to the virus but the Royal Marsden have let Terri know that they are looking forward to receiving them and seeing the children's faces light up after such a difficult year for everyone.
Lets keep amazing, inspirational Jess's memory alive and bring as many smiles as possible to the faces of those children that will be sadly spending christmas in hospitals and hospices.
We would like donations to help with our travel expenses when we deliver them all around Sussex and up to London and also to enable us to fill in the gaps by buying the sizes we don't have at the end of the appeal.
Thank you so much in advance, with love from Terri's pj's appeal team.
