As some of you may know , or not because Terrie is rather modest when it comes to herself, she recently received the following news from her doctors: She has the beginning stages of breast cancer in about 35% of her breast that is not able to be removed with a lumpectomy. It has been a long road getting to this diagnoses: It took her 3 mammograms, an ultrasound and a couple biopsy’s in almost a 6 month timeframe before getting the final results. Therefore, she is having a mastectomy with reconstruction this Thursday. She will be out of work for 6 weeks. If you know anything about Terrie, she is always the first to help others and can be found participating in the majority of fundraising campaigns that she is aware of. She is always giving to others and now it is our turn to help her when she is need. Terrie's recovery will also impact her ability to return to work right away therefore making everyday bills add up quickly in addition to medical expenses that are not fully covered by insurance.
