Terri's fight to beat lung and brain cancer
On January 31st my wife of 40 years Terri was diagnosed with lung cancer and brain cancer, this all started with a simple trip to the doctor for being a little bit dizzy. Our doctor decided Terri needed more testing and sent her to the hospital where she was admitted and several tests were done, never did we expect to get the results we received, the doctors told us she had lung cancer that had spread to her brain. First they had to treat the several tumors on her brain to shrink them with very extensive radiation treatment, she lost her hair during this time which really took a toll on her, but through it all she's stayed positive, and ready to fight with all she has!!! Terri starts chemotherapy in March. She still gets a lot of headaches and chest pain. We thought we could handle the bills and everything else on our own but that's not realistic. She will have to have treatment for the rest of her life, she's already had biopsy, port placement, and every test possible, and many more to come. First she needs prayers, any help that we can get from family, friends and people we don't know yet will be greatly appreciated. Thank everyone for good thoughts and prayers, we will continue to update and let everyone know how she's doing.
