My name is Terri, I am 59 and have worked hard my whole life. I have found myself in a strange place. I will be homeless on December 31, 2024.

In 2006, I was stricken with having a blood clot in my Aorta that sprinkled and wreaked havoc in my body. I was diagnosed with having lupus anticoagulant. It killed my spleen, caused nerve damage in my foot and I needed to have a complete hysterectomy. I have 6 skin grafts on my thighs as a daily reminder of what I went thru. I now live with a compromised immune system. In July 2024, I contracted long haul COVID and took a longer leave of absence than expected from work. I was dealing with the issues of Covid along with extreme, chronic fatigue which rendered me lifeless for weeks on end. During this time of hardship I was terminated after almost 4 years of employment. This is an extremely humbling time in my life. I hope to reach my goals and in turn pay it forward one day.
