Terri Amig Needs our help in her cancer battle
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Stan Sperlak, and many of you know that Terri Amig and I go back a long way. Terri is going thru the fight of her life. She was diagnosed with Bone cancer in her jaw, and underwent a 10+ hour surgery to remove and then graft a new bone from her leg that will need a long time to heal, and then much reconstructive work after that settles. During the surgery the doctors found more cancer in soft tissues and lymph nodes, so there was additional work done. She is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. Terri is a very special person to her community and friends. This situation is finding her with unsurmountable bills beyond what her insurance will cover. Prior to surgery, Terri was not insured, out of full time work and painting sales had fallen drastically. The costs of her earlier dental bills and loss of work through the pandemic, sent her far into debt. While our January 18 show and sale helped, that money is nearly gone and Terri still has a long way to go, speech therapy, implants, follow up care and just living expenses, and no income. Her best friend Penny Beck and I, along with many helpers and angels are guiding Terri along and are planning a concert and silent auction on May 3rd (which is SOLD OUT!!!) Standing room only. But>>>> The silent auction portion is free at my gallery from 4-630, then the music starts. I am at 521 Rt 47 N Goshen, NJ 08210 if you plan on attending in person. Otherwise, anything you might donate here will be so appreciated. Her major works remain on display at my gallery, and the purchase of one of those would be awesome if you are an art patron!
