Donate in memory of Terrence D. Jones (age 37)

Hello Everyone, my name is Tiara Jones and my husband Terrence (aka Tee or Doodles) is terminally ill. On the morning of July 29, 2022, I woke up and found him breathing, but unresponsive. With my heart beating out of my chest and shaking fingers, immediately I dialed 911. He was taken to the E.R. @ Baptist Hospital. Unfortunately, we're way too familiar with this place. You see, Tee was shot and paralyzed from the waist down on July 8, 2006, which also happens to be his B-Day. For 16 years, I've stuck beside my "Bae" as he's battled health problems, such as, countless UTI's, a severe blood infection, a hip surgery to remove extra bone growth, and a spinal infusion surgery to reverse scoliosis, which he developed from sitting in a wheelchair for many years. And I can't forget daily battles with physical pain and depression. Everyone, I'm only sharing these details to say, although our time together was not always easy, but we loved each other unconditionally for 18 years. And I wouldn't change a thing because we made it through it.

Until now!! Tee has a fatal Anoxic brain injury because he stopped breathing in his sleep the night I found him unresponsive. For 14 days, he received medication and treatment, and an MRI has not produced positive results. The minimal brain activity he has will not sustain life, let alone a productive one I know Tee will want. On Thursday, August 11, the ventilator was removed. On Tuesday, August 16, @ 6:08 pm, Tee took his last breath with family by his side.

I hate to admit it but Terrence don't have life insurance. Because of his paralysis and being hospitalized so many times, insurance was too expensive to continue on a fixed income. So everyone, that's why I'm here to ask for help to raise $4250. It will cover cost for cremation and a Homegoing Memorial Service and everything that comes with it. If you got to know him, he'll give you the shirt off his back if you need it. He will give his last dollar to a friend, family or stranger. He has lended an ear or offered advice to me, a mother, a brother, a niece and nephew and anyone who would listen. I've never felt this pain, my heart breaks when I think about being without him for one minute, let alone forever.

So whomever reads this and can spare whatever amount possible, please help me raise funds to cover expenses for a Homegoing Memorial Service, Terrence Derrell Jones deserves it.
