She is sarcastic, quick-witted, fiercely loyal, and the person who will answer the phone at 2 a.m. without hesitation. She has always been the steady one. The one who makes you laugh when you want to cry. The one who gives even when she doesn’t have much to give.

Recently, Terra was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) after her Primary care, Kelly R Hall at SerenityPass Holistic Health sent her for blood work after becoming concerned with some of her symptoms.

Hearing the word “leukemia” changes everything. Even when there is a treatment plan. Even when doctors are hopeful. Even when you’re trying to stay brave.

CML is a type of blood cancer that requires ongoing, consistent treatment and monitoring. While many patients are able to manage it long-term with medication, that medication is expensive. The appointments are frequent. The labs are constant. The mental and physical toll is real.

And the bills don’t pause just because life does.

Terra is facing this diagnosis the way she faces everything — with grit, dark humor, and determination. But no one should have to fight something like this alone. Especially not someone who has spent her life fighting for others.
