Terranaut Club's Earth Week Fundraiser
Donation protected
Earth Day is the start of a crucial week of fundraising for our non-profit’s pay-what-you-can summer programs for girls+ (girls and under-represented genders) in the Maritimes. This summer, we’ll be holding 10 science and nature exploration programs in 5 communities across Nova Scotia. These multi-day and overnight programs offer girls+ the chance to learn about marine biology and wildlife conservation in fun, casual, and inclusive environments through hands-on activities. Many of these programs involve working with threatened and endangered species, helping us achieve our mission of encouraging girls+ to pursue STEM careers and become environmental leaders in their own communities.
If you’re looking for a way to give back to the Earth and the next generation, consider donating to our Earth Week fundraiser and supporting our pay-what-you-can STEM and environmental education programs. Every bit helps! Whether it’s $10, $100, or literally any other number, you’re helping deserving girls+ form meaningful connections to their environment and relationships with women in STEM mentors. Our goal this year is to raise $5000 for our summer programs, which will cover equipment, accommodations, staff, meals, transportation, and activity costs.
