Terminal Cancer (PPC) desperately in need of help
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Heather M. Reeder and On May 19, 2022, I was diagnosed with a terminal and rare cancer (PPC primary peritoneal cancer) that has now spread to my liver. Coincidentally, on April 25, 2022 I lost my job. So, very quickly I am drowning in everything. I am a patient at Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, SC. Writing this is hard.. what to write.. what is rambling.. If permitted, I have been adding random videos on YouTube for my family about what I call "the monster" and how I am feeling... I will add a link for you to view, also. I have already applied for disability and medicaid to help me. I just need some help to try to make it through until then. My thoughts are every where.. I am ineligible for surgery to remove any of the cancer, which would give me a greater life span chance.. but my doctor told me that it is like grains of sand on my abdomen, so we are going to do chemotherapy. This is all so shocking and when I really sit and think about it.. like now.. which I really try not to do... It feels like it should be a horrible dream and I really wish someone would just wake me up. I am going to fight like crazy to stay here. And there I go rambling again.. If you are still here, thank you for your kind patience. I appreciate your time in reading these words from a stranger.. and thank you.. from the very bottom of my heart for anything you give... a prayer or a $1.00.
With greatest appreciation and gratitude,
Heather Reeder ❤
