Soy la terapeuta ocupacional de Termin en el Centro Especializado de Cáncer de Sylvester y he tenido el privilegio de acompañarlo en su valiente camino hacia la sanación. A lo largo de este tiempo, he sido testigo de su increíble fuerza y espíritu inquebrantable, incluso en los momentos más difíciles. Con mucho cariño, me uno a esta campaña para apoyar a Termin y a su familia en este momento tan delicado.

Su historia será compartida a continuación. Gracias por tomarse un momento para leerla y apoyar de cualquier manera posible.

Termin fue diagnosticado por primera vez con mieloma múltiple (Multiple Myeloma) en 2018. Desde entonces, su vida se transformó en una lucha constante por sobrevivir.

Con cada año que pasaba, los tratamientos se volvían más intensos, más dolorosos. Termin enfrentó quimioterapia agresiva, radiación, cirugías de espalda, un trasplante autólogo de células madre y, finalmente, la terapia CAR-T. Cada procedimiento fue una prueba de su fuerza física y emocional.

Y aun así, venció el cáncer.

Pero la batalla no terminó ahí. Hoy, Termin sigue hospitalizado, enfrentando una colitis severa—una nueva complicación que llegó cuando pensó que por fin podría respirar en paz. Su cuerpo está agotado, su mente cansada, pero su corazón sigue luchando.

A pesar del sufrimiento, Termin no ha perdido la esperanza. Intenta cada día mantener su espíritu vivo. Pero sin poder caminar por sí solo, sin poder trabajar, y sin ingresos, la carga es demasiado pesada.

Termin está en una situación crítica. Sus cuentas se acumulan y los gastos esenciales—el alquiler, la comida, la electricidad—se han vuelto inalcanzables.

Por eso, pedimos tu ayuda. No solo para cubrir lo básico, sino para que Termin pueda enfocarse en sanar sin el miedo constante de perder su hogar o su estabilidad.

I’m Termin’s occupational therapist, and I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside him on his courageous journey to healing. Throughout this time, I’ve witnessed his incredible strength and unbreakable spirit, even in the face of the toughest challenges. With a full heart, I join this campaign to support Termin and his family during this difficult time.

Termin was first diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2018. Since then, his life has become a constant fight for survival.

With each passing year, the treatments became more intense, more painful. Termin underwent aggressive chemotherapy, radiation, back surgeries, an autologous stem cell transplant, and finally, CAR-T cell therapy. Each procedure tested his physical and emotional strength.

And yet, he beat cancer.

But the battle didn’t end there. Today, Termin remains hospitalized, facing severe colitis—a new complication that appeared just when he thought he could finally breathe in peace. His body is exhausted, his mind tired, but his heart keeps fighting.

Despite the suffering, Termin has not lost hope. Every day, he tries to keep his spirit alive. But unable to walk on his own, unable to work, and without income, the burden is too heavy.

Termin is in a critical situation. His bills are piling up, and essential expenses—rent, food, electricity—have become unreachable.

That’s why we ask for your help. Not just to cover the basics, but so that Termin can focus on healing without the constant fear of losing his home or his stability.

He has given everything he has to keep living. Now, we can give a little bit of that strength back to him.
