Teri was diagnosed in October 2019 with Inflammatory Breast cancer. She completed chemo in March of 2020 with no one allowed to be with her during her last treatment because of Covid, Surgery in May, and radiation was completed in August 2020. Even though we knew there was a chance this cancer couldcome back, we really thought we had it beat because of her exams every 3 months. In August 2021, we found out her cancer came back, and we were told the cancer is treatable with years of survivability. On October 1st, we found out the cancer had changed where now she has months to a couple of years depending on she reacts to the new drug. Since August, Teri has been in and out of several different medical facilities for treatments, tests, and included 2 hospital stays for blood clots, and breathing issues. This was devastating news to both Teri and myself. Her new chemo treatment is aggressive and she is taking several different prescriptions to combat the side effects of this treatment. Currently the new treatment has been extremely hard on her where she had to resign her dream job working for a company where she was managing a residential/commercial property that she loved and enjoyed doing. Our savings had dwindled from her previous treatments, and with the help from a previous Go Fund Me site, were able to stay a float paying for her treatments. For the past 6 months, we started building our savings account again, however with this new diagnoses our savings is dwindling quickly, especially now with only one income coming in. Once again, we are asking for assistance in helping with her medical bills and end-of-life expenses. Any moneys left over will be donated to New Mexico Cancer Center to help others in need. Thank you and God Bless.
