Hi, I'm Teri, a wife, mother, and grandmother. and I've been following Jesus for 37 years. I've never described myself as bold or brave and until lately I've been pretty content living my life in a place I've come to call the 'place of reason'. You may know this place - it's safe, reasonable, and has the least amount of risk. Recently I saw Missions.me's video for 1Nation1Day campaign to Nicaragua, the 2nd poorest nation in the western hemisphere. I was captivated by the scope and magitude of this mission; 3,000 people from 4 continents uniting in Nicaragua to take on poverty, administer lifesaving aid, and bring eternal hope to an entire nation. Wow! God was compelling me to be part of this cause so much bigger than me. As my heart was applauding and urging me to take action, my head was frantically trying to get my attention and bring me back to the place of reason - "it's too much money, you're too old, too timid, and you can't even remember where you've parked your car at the grocery store, this would NOT be reasonable". As my heart and my head were battling it out my spirit stirred within begging me, "STOP being so reasonable, just imagine what God might do through this one act of bold obedience." So, here I am, confidently terrified, preparing to go to Nicaragua to witness firsthand what God is preparing to do for the people of of this Nation. I'm inviting you to partner with me and send a little part of yourself to this mission field by making a contribution. There's no donation you can give that's too small. As you click on the gofundme link please say a prayer for God's spirit to go before us and prepare the way for miracles.
