Teri Jordon’s Funeral Fund Raiser
Donation protected
First and foremost, I would like to thank you all for taking the time to read this story. On behalf of our mother, Teri Jordon, her children are making this fundraiser to carry out her postmortem care wishes. She passed away December 29th, 2023 in Upland, California with her family right by her side. She was 75 years old and had four children by the name of Kimberly, James, Karma, and Richard. She also has nine grandchildren ranging from 1-28 years old. Teri was born in South Korea and was adopted by an American couple along with her biological mother and three sisters. She grew up in Burbank, California and had her first baby girl, my sister, at the age of 18. Our mom was a very strong woman. In her later years, she suffered from mental illness due to previous traumatic events. In 2009, we lost complete touch with her and wasn’t able contact her for 13 years. During that span, we searched endlessly and even filed a missing person report. Our prayer to God was to keep our mother safe and to eventually bring her home to us safely. In March of 2023, God answered our prayers as we finally reunited with our beloved mother. From March 2023 to December 2023, Teri was able to spend lost time with her children and her grandchildren. Within those nine precious months, she expressed to her family that she specifically wanted to be buried opposed to cremation. She pleaded “don’t burn me and just let me lay here.” Therefore, we are trying to honor our mom’s wishes by burying her. While mourning at the loss of our mom, we are struggling to cover the cost of the total burial expenses. We understand these may be difficult times financially, so we greatly appreciate any amount donated. We ask God to bless the hands and lives of anyone who contributes to our mom’s burial, even if it’s just a prayer for us. Again, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, and we thank Jesus for his grace and mercy. It is truly a blessing that he allowed us to spend our mom’s last 10 months of her life on Earth with her loved ones.
