Hello. My name is Peggy Wittum and I am fundraising on behalf of Teri Fultz Durnil’s family. Teri was at home on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023 when she began not feeling very good. Her family took her to the Labette Health Care Center here in Independence, Kansas where they assessed her and decided to life flight her to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma for further observation/testing. She was doing fine from what the family was told upon arrival. Early morning on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023 her heart rate began dropping and the staff could not get it back up. Her mother, Violet Fultz, and some other family members were able to get to St. John's just in time to see her and visit with her before she ended up passing away. I am here to help Teri's family with this GoFundMe account to help them with her Medical and Funeral Expenses. If you knew Teri, you know she had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone in need! I was lucky enough to had met her years ago in Kindergarten and we have been good friends since! My heart goes out to her family and loved ones! She left behind her son, Chris and her daughter, Breanna. She had a beautiful granddaughter that just turned one on 12-12-2023.
