Tereza Lopez Vazquez

Tereza Lopez Vazquez is an indigenous farmworker that passed away from cancer on August 10, 2023. Tereza first arrived in the United States in 2006 and worked for four years and went back to her hometown San Martin Peras, Oaxaca, Mexico in 2010. She came back to the to the United States in 2021. She worked in the strawberry fields. Tereza was diagnosed with stomach cancer in October 2022, she was hospitalized and spent 10 months in the hospital fighting for her life. Her family would greatly appreciate your support in this difficult time. They will be translating her body to her native town San Martin Peras. Her 98-year mother awaits for her body to rest in peace. This is our time to show up for this family of farm workers.

Tereza Lopez Vazquez es una trabajadora del campo indígena que murió de cáncer el 10 de Agosto, 2023. Tereza llego a los Estados Unidos en el 2006 y trabajo por 4 años y se regreso a su pueblo natal de San Martin Peras, Oaxaca, Mexico en el 2010. Ella regreso a los Estados Unidos en el año 2021. Ella trabajo en los campos de la Fresa. Tereza fue diagnosticada con cáncer de estomago en octubre del 2022, ella fue hospitalizada , y paso 10 meses luchando por su vida. Su familia les agradecía su apoyo en estos momentos difíciles.  Ellos trasladaran su cuerpo a su pueblo natal San Martin Peras. Su madre de 98 años espera sepultar a su hija para su descanso. Este es el momento para apoyar a una familia de trabajadores del campo.
