Donations for a Seizure Alert Dog

I first of all want to send my love out to everyone who has helped me and has been by my side during this long battle.  If it wasn't for all the people who gave their love, support and donations, I would not have Lola today. It's because of you that I have Lola paid off and I have largest blessing in my life with me right now. My love goes out to all of you - Thank You!!!
The following pictures you will see on this page are pictures of Lola - the seizure alert dog that I am now the proud owner of thanks to all of you. 
I have epilepsy.  I have had epilepsy since 1976. My grand mals have been escalating now for some time. As a child I would have 1 or 2 grand mals every 3 to 4 months. I now am getting anywhere from 1 to 6 every month. Sometimes I have several seizures in one day. I don't have a warning sign before it happens and I have had several injuries and hospital visits because it.  

If I had a warning sign, I would have fewer to no injuries and I would live a much safer life, with fewer visits to the hospital.  Lola is not "just another dog". She is not considered a "pet".  Lola is a working dog - a dog that can detect my seizures BEFORE they happen.  A dog that will be by my side 24/7 making sure that I am safe, one that can tell me if and when I am going to have a seizure, a dog that can go and get help and bring the help to me when I am having a seizure,  and she can give me "deep pressure therapy" (help me come out of a seizrue) and so much more.  Because of Lola, my hospital bills alone will be cut down tremendously!!!

Thanks to all of you, Lola is now at home with me where she was always meant to be. Thanks to you, I am now starting  a new, more normal and safer life style.
Regardless of the medications I am on, the medicine will  only help control my seizures (in 40 yrs of having these seizures, they have not been under control with any of the medications that I have been on). The medication will not stop the seizures,  and there is not a medication that I can take that will give me a warning before I have a seizure.
Thanks to all of you, I now have Lola - a dog that can actually save my life.  Having seizures is not just about going unconscious and shaking. There are  things that other people do and don't even think twice about doing that are life threatening to those who have seizures - like:
going for a hike
taking a bath
taking a shower
driving a car
(these are just a few things)

Thanks to all of you and your love and support that you have shown me, I now own Lola outright and I can now have a much more safer and more normal lifestyle with more freedom in my life and start doing things that I normally could not do unless I had someone with me.


Because of all the help that I have received, I now own Lola. She is now home and living a new lifestyle with me. She is more than a pet, more than a service dog!!! She is a true blessing that I thought would never happen.  Thank you everyone for helping me make this blessing happen. Thank You!!!
