On August 20th, my birthday, I am scheduled to have gallbladder removal surgery — a much-needed step toward healing and relief after ongoing pain and health challenges. While I’m grateful to finally have a treatment plan in place, I’m facing a significant financial hurdle that I can’t overcome alone.
