Teresa's Fight: Recovery and Renewal
Donation protected
My sister Teresa Bullinger needs your help. She was faced with a horrific lifesaving operation. In early March, Teresa was taken to the ER with an infected area on her foot. It was found to be Necrotizing Fasciitis, and she was within hours of dying from Septicemia. The only hope was to remove her foot, which turned into 4 surgeries, and ended at the top of her thigh before they were able to find healthy tissue. She spent 5 days in a coma on a ventilator, then another week until she was stable enough to be transferred to a rehab facility in Denver to try to relearn everything she had always known. Teresa lost her husband to cancer just 3 years ago and started over then. Now, our strong sister, mother, grandmother, and friend has to figure out this new life she has to overcome.
We are asking for any donation you can provide for a stair glider, as she has a bi-level home, a scooter to try to get around, and other durable medical equipment needed, so she can live independently in her home. Also needed are living expenses, until she can "get on her foot again." Please help us to help her become the strong, fun-loving, independent woman she was and will be once again.
