Dear friends,

My name is Jill Brown, and I wanted to create this page on behalf of Teresa Penland. Our beloved Teresa is currently fighting abdominal cancer, and as common with cancer, the financial aspect of the battle is becoming quite overwhelming. Unfortunately, Teresa's health has declined to the point that she is unable to work, and considering her medical needs, the family has been relying on a local food pantry for daily meals. Teresa is 6'1", and currently weighs only 78 lbs. She very much needs proper nutrition and extensive medical care to successfully fight this cancer.

To further complicate the situation, the house she and her husband, Jay, were renting has been sold, and therefore, they must soon move. She and Jay also need a car so that Jay can more easily get to and from work, as well as to and from Teresa's medical appointments.
