Teresa’s Dental & Medical Expenses

This fund has been established on behalf of our family member, Teresa Clayton.  She was diagnosed at a young age with Lupus.  Having been on strong medications, she is now in need of extensive, and expensive, dental and medical care.  She is a single mom, who works every day and fights this disease relentlessly.  She’s a warrior.  She would never ask for help on her own, but that’s what family is for. 

 

Teresa has been told she needs to have all of her remaining teeth pulled.  We are focusing on the top teeth because there are only 9 left.  Having been on prednisone for 8 years, multiple other medications and in addition to a vitamin D deficiency, her teeth were destroyed.  No amount of care would have prevented this, even after multiple dental interventions. 
 

No one should have to worry about the cost of something like this, but she does.  She has attempted to obtain financing, but nothing has worked out for her.
