“Growing old is not the same as growing up”! Join Teresa and her “sensible friends” on Sunday February 5th for her birthday dip in the Atlantic Ocean. All funds raised will be donated to Irish Wheelchair Rubgy, which is part of a registered charity, IWA Sport (CHY5393). This is a great charity which enables people with a physical disability to participate in sport.

Teresa is the chairperson of the organisation and has been involved since 2010, when her son Alan started playing. Alan was part of the Irish team who competed in the Wheelchair rugby World Cup in Australia in 2018. Irish Wheelchair Rugby is the National Wheelchair Rugby team and also the organisers of wheelchair rugby in Ireland as a whole. 

All money raised will go towards the running of the Irish league, travel to competitions and the purchase of equipment.
