Teresa Simmons Inoperable Brain Tum

Some of you may already know, Theresa Simmons has an inoperable brain tumor. It's hard to see a good friend have the pain and suffering of
a meningioma. She's been undergoing radiation which makes her very sick. Her symptoms started over 2 years ago with severe headaches, nausea and vomiting requiring many trips to the ER to manage the pain and to rehydrate.
In January 2016, after an MRI, she received the devastating diagnosis of a brain tumor. It's a meningioma, although non-cancerous, is severe and very invasive. It is wrapped around the Carotid Artery, the Optic Nerve, and the Pituitary Gland as well as invading the Cavernous Sinus. She's had numerous neurosurgical consults, MRI's and CAT scans,(with and without dye) as well as numerous other medical consults in hopes of removing the tumor. After all this, she received the heartbreaking news that it was inoperable. They could only remove 10 percent, causing deficits, and it would continue to grow, causing more pain and serious risks. She began radiation in November. This won't get rid of the tumor but will hopefully keep the bad cells from regenerating. Due to her illness she has been unable to work for over a year and is also a single mother of 2 children. My name is Mary Putnam and I'm appealing on Teresa's behalf, as a last resort, to assist with medical expenses, to help her provide for herself and her 2 children and to maintain her home.
