TERESA SHOCK Cancer Benefit

The entire “Shock Family” is Amazing. Teresa is 53 years old. She’s a wife of 32 years. A mom to 3 adult children, and Grandma “TT” to her 2 year old and 5 month old grandsons. Daughter of Sue LeQuatte. She’s Loved by many other family members and friends. She was diagnosed with cancer in August 2020. She has fought a very hard battle for the past 18 months. She has undergone many forms of chemotherapy and also radiation. She has had Gamma Knife surgery a multiple of times on her brain to remove tumors. Each time she has held her head high and faced each treatment as a warrior NEVER complaining. Her cancer has been very aggressive. On Monday Feb 21st she went to Iowa City like many other times to see her doctors for an update. She was told that the cancer has progressed to the point that there’s no more treatment the doctors can do to save her life. She was diagnosed as terminal because the  tumors are too large and the quantity is too many in her brain. The cancer also had traveled to her liver and her lung. She had to go home and tell her family the devastating news she is gonna die. Teresa is my best friend. I can’t even imagine what she is going through. This GoFundMe account has been created to help Teresa and her family to pay necessary expenses as she will no longer be able to contribute financially, as a result of her terminal diagnosis. I believe It’s important that this family have as much time as possible to spend together with Teresa. Hospice was called in immediately on Tuesday Feb 22nd. Every day they have left is a blessing.
