Teresa Schwartzer Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Miranda. For those who may not know, I was born on June 4th in Omaha, Nebraska at Bergan Mercy Hospital (not that you care...haha). However, the next day, June 5th, the biggest spit-fire of a blonde was born in the room next door to me. Her name is Teresa. Or Beed or Beeter Bug to some. For any of you that know her, I like to say that God gave me one day to prepare for her to steamroll into my life. Best friends since her day one. And, you all have to know that she has been one of the biggest blessings in my life as I'm sure she has been in yours. The life of the party, the best of friends, an amazing wife, mother and nurse. She is simply the best.

On Monday, August 8th...with the advice from co-workers and friends, Teresa went into see here PCP regarding a suspicious lump on the inside of her elbow. After review and Teresa explaining that she has been experiencing tenderness in her armpit, he sent her straight to CHI Health Midlands for an ultrasound. It was there/then we learned that while the suspicious lump on her inner elbow was nothing to worry about, unfortunately, further studies were concerning for cancer in her breast. An MRI later in the week strengthened these concerns. Biopsies were performed Friday (a total of 7). It's been confirmed that Teresa has a stage 3 tumor in her right breast.

We need your help at this time to come together and rally beside her as she begins her journey with breast cancer. All funds raised here will help offset medical expenses Teresa, Kevin, Jax and Jude will endure through this new journey they are navigating.
