Teresa Scaletta, St. Lucy's Attendance Rockstar
Donation protected
On the evening of Thursday, July 21, Teresa took a bad fall while alone at her home. Because she did not have her cell phone at the time of the fall, she was not able to contact emergency medical assistance until the early hours of Friday morning. Once taken to the hospital, her diagnosis was a broken femur, which she would need emergency surgery to repair. Teresa had the surgery on Saturday and is being transferred to Casa Colina for extensive inpatient rehabilitation. Teresa will be laid up for many weeks and will have to undergo extensive rehabilitation before she is able to resume her normal life. Her ability to return to work is unclear at this time and she does not know when she can resume her duties at St. Lucy's.
Teresa has always been a beacon of light, positivity, care, and selfless giving for all of us. Anything you are able to contribute to help alleviate this financial distress is greatly appreciated!
