Hi, my name is Heather DeLeon, a friend of Teresa's. Teresa moved to Metuchen in 1984 and is an MHS graduate, class of '92. Teresa has been active in the community and volunteered for multiple years with the schools' PTO organizations. She is 48 years old, married, and has two sons, 12 and 14 years old. Teresa was diagnosed with stage 2 gastric cancer on January 12, 2023, after two long weeks in the hospital. Since then, she has undergone four chemo treatments. Nevertheless, her husband has used many days off work, and the medical bills for the hospital, tests, and treatments are becoming overwhelming and impossible. The total is well over $20,000 and she is still looking at more tests, possible surgery, and more rounds of chemo. Please donate whatever you can to help a friend in need. Thank you!
