Hello everyone,

 

This message is being written by Eric Fierro, Jennifer Neuhaus, and Kevin Fierro we are Teresa’s 3 surviving children.

 

About 5 weeks ago, Teresa began a journey across the country to move to San Diego, California. Teresa had fallen in love with beauty and nature of California after visiting Eric who had moved to California about 2 years ago to advance his career.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As some of you may know and for those who didn’t Teresa had stage 4 breast cancer which unfortunately had metastasized to her lungs. In the beginning of her journey across the country she began to have flu-like symptoms. She was diagnosed with COVID-19 around the end of August and after a long hard fought battle she unfortunately passed on October 5th, 2021. Teresa’s wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes spread in the ocean which we as a family are working on fulfilling.

 

Teresa was a strong willed person who often offered advice and help to others in need in any way she could. Till her last breath she was concerned about her children and her family. She did not want others to mourn her death or be hurt by her passing. Any money donated would be used to assist with expenses from her untimely death and if possible we as a family would like to donate some money to UCSD for cancer research.
