Teresa Mather Still Needs Our Help!
Donation protected
Greetings friends,
A year ago we started a Gofundme to help our dear high school friend Teresa Mather and you responded with GREAT kindness and support that helped her significantly during a time of crisis. This ongoing crisis has not yet abated, unfortunately. So I am AGAIN reaching out to you, for your help, to raise funds for Teresa. She has no other resources to aid her except us, friends along her life path.
Teresa continues to experience untenable and unfathomable circumstances that impact her ability to sustain herself economically enough to meet certain real costs. Currently she has overdue property taxes (on the farm/land where she lives which she inherited from her grandparents…now at risk of foreclosure....and potentially her homelessness).
Due to an ongoing strange and problematic reality of harassment in her small rural town by a subset of primarily male individuals, she has been unable to effectively run her small home-based business to a functioning state (she breeds, raises, and sells amazing dogs --through which she has been able to provide for her needs for the majority of her adult life). The goal of her harassers seemingly is to prevent her from being able to retain her property and local law enforcement is failing to protect her and her right to live and work peaceably.
This is truly a circumstance where we have an opportunity to do something essential and impactful for an individual who at this point (and to her great dismay and distress) cannot currently consistently meet her needs/costs herself.
Our goal is to raise the remaining $4247 (as of 8-21-23) now due by November, needed to pay her property taxes. While we cannot control all of her current circumstances, we can help in this tangible way.
Your contribution of any amount will be immensely and forever appreciated, especially recognizing that you may have previously contributed to her needs.
YOU can make a real impactful difference at this moment.
MANY thanks for your time and care.
Sincerely,
Elaine Johnson McArthur
