Hi, my name is Viviana Garcia. It is with a heavy heart that my family and I announce the passing of my grandmother, Teresa Herrera.
The morning of Sunday, February 19, 2017 she lost her battle to brain cancer. My grandmother lived a full life and was blessed with 84 years. A strong woman she was, caring for her youngest son with Down Syndrome for the last 45 years. Anyone who knew my grandmother knew that she always put others before herself and never asked for anything in return. This is one of the reasons why it is so important for us to give her a proper, well-deserving funeral.
We are deeply saddened to say goodbye to such a beautiful, kind-hearted soul but take comfort knowing she rejoins her beloved husband after 25 years.
Any contributions will be used for her funeral expenses. Our goal is to raise the funds by Thursday, February 23rd as we do need them for the funeral arrangements.
