My name is Teresa, and I have been a Labor & Delivery/APU nurse for 30 years. I have been able to work at my dream job my entire career and have helped over 9k women have babies.

I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in 2015 after being missed for 1 year.

9 years later, this past January, I felt a couple of lumps.

On April 16, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic breast cancer.

I have been off work for a month for testing and have not received a paycheck due to a delay in leave papers at the doctor's office.

I'm headed to MD Anderson for a 3rd opinion today for additional testing and to see what they have to offer.

Due to these circumstances, I am making this GoFundMe request.
