Teresa M. Florez fought the good fight until the very end. Her family stood vigilantly at the hospital praying for a miracle. Since 2019 when sickness took over her body she still stood up and fought as hard she could. In the last few years she recovered from the toughest health set backs. Teresa gained her heavenly angel wings unexpectedly on February 16, 2022 with her children Amanda and Christopher by her side , along with her favorite cousin praying over her. Losing Teresa has devastated our family beyond imagine. My sister was always there for anyone who needed help or just a home cooked meal. Anyone who knew Teresa knew of her amazing cooking, her caring ways and how she was there for EVERYONE EVERY TIME. She never had to be asked to help or jump in , she just did it. Teresa never asked for any help from anyone. She prided herself in always being independent. She retired after over 25 years from Dow Chemicals. We are trying to untangle her benefits , if any , with her former employer. However, it has not  been successful so far. Her children are trying to honor their Mother’s memory and lay her to rest in the best way possible. She truly deserves to be honored. We humbly ask for help in providing my sister Teresa Florez a memorial service to honor all the she was to so many people. Our family feels all your prayers and love we have been receiving. Keep praying for our family as we figure out life without our Momma , Nona,  Sister , Nina, cousin and friend. Any amount that you can give to help her family lay Teresa to rest would be greatly appreciated.
