A young widowed mother from Moygownagh and her three children, the youngest being 15 and the oldest 23, are facing a major family crisis. After the recent passing of their father, their mother has now been diagnosed with a stage four, aggressive, inoperable brain tumour. As of November 28th, Teresa has been moved to the local hospice in Ballina.
As the family prepares for ongoing medical costs and the significant household changes that will follow this illness, the children’s eldest sibling has stepped in as the primary caregiver while also studying for a master’s degree away from home.
This fundraiser aims to help cover mounting medical bills, treatment-related expenses, and the adjustments the household will need to make as the situation develops. Any support will help ease the financial and immense emotional pressure during this difficult and rapidly changing time.
She herself is unaware of the fundraising due to her condition, but I know she would be emotional with the amount of support she has generated around her. As the primary caregiver, I am so grateful for all of the help for our family. The donations and kind gestures of family, friends and neighbours does not go unnoticed❤️
