Date: September 1, 2020 Dear brothers and sisters, The Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church Head Office made the following appeal for its members and partners around the world. Following the overwhelming needs in different regions the church requested your support in helping evangelists who are in desperate needs for their day-to-day survival. Through the cross-cultural evangelism ministry, 108 evangelists were recruited and supported by local congregations in the south, and they are serving in West Ethiopia, Welega and its surrounding; Northern Ethiopia, Wello and its surrounding; Central Ketena, mostly in the eastern, and the Central and Southern parts of the country. However, due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the supporting churches were unable to continue their support. Some of these evangelists are being forced to return home, and others are staying in the mission field but they are in desperate situation. Therefore, by understanding the overwhelming needs and the huge burden on the local churches, we request your prompt action in supporting these missionaries and their families, who committed their lives for the purpose of the gospel. “ How can they preach unless they are sent?” Romans 10:14-16 Terefe Anshebo KHCNA General Secretary
