Nurse for Nepal

Donation protected
THIS IS OUTDATED BUT ALL DONATIONS ARE REACHING SHARON IN NEPAL DAILY.  Second major earthquake Monday. Every little bit helps!

Our friend, Sharon Rynard will be departing from Fayetteville, WV for Nepal this Monday, May 4th to join the volunteer medical team, ramusa.org .

Along with her experience as an ER nurse, she will be taking ONE tub of medical supplies, her personal supply of dry food for the journey, cash for needed items upon arrival and the clothes on her back (literally).

Half of her tub is filled with donated water purification tablets. The list of items for volunteer nurses to take with them is changing daily. Today it is tarps, tomorrow it might be gauze. She will make a stop for purchase of the most needed items on the way to the airport.

Sharon is being very brave and traveling to Nepal alone, with a layover in a dangerous area. She will be met upon arrival in Nepal to meet the rest of her team of ten.

As we all know, some world organizations aren't as "organized" as they should be. People lay suffering while the supplies are tied up in politics. The team she has chosen to volunteer with is ready. They arrive with what they gather from their hometowns and GO immediately upon arrival in Nepal. No waiting for a green light, they put their boots on the ground and go!!.

Sharon volunteered last week and has worked non stop to prepare. Shots, visas, etc. I have spoken with her about fundraising. She has been hesitant about raising funds for herself. As we are watching her prepare, max out credit cards for flights, visas, supplies, doctors visits, shots and proper gear and clothing, I couldn't stand by and do nothing.
I have several friends who's families are in Nepal. They've told me stories about where their villages are, how far into those mountains they'd have to travel to see their families. No roads, no phones. Just paths...
Sharon could very well be on her way to save my friends mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers.
Either way, it is someone's mother, someone's child.

Please help Nepal by helping Sharon and her team save lives.

All funds will go to Sharon in cash to buy supplies, subsidise travel costs and emergency cash in hand during her journey.
Trust we will handle donations accordingly.
Thank you!!!
