We are Dilan and Mert, a Turkish couple living in Dublin.

As you may have heard that there were two massive earthquakes in Southeast Turkey on the 6th of February. The incident affected 10 provinces inhabited by more than 13 million people. The weather conditions are extremely harsh in the region. Currently, NGOs are inviting people to donate winter outfits and tents.

We will buy tents via our former university’s (Middle East Technical University) alumni association. You can see the details via the link.

The unit price of a tent is €375, and we are aiming to buy 15 tents. Any contributions will be more than welcome.

UPDATE

As of February 17, we are ending the fundraising as the alumni association's tent campaign ended. We managed to purchase 12 tents in total.
