The Avoca School District has invested approximately $25,000 in tents for outdoor learning and activities at Avoca West and Marie Murphy. The district’s finances are strained. If you are able, please help our efforts to support outdoor learning in the Avoca District.  Using outdoor space for learning not only provides health benefits associated with increased access to nature and hands-on learning opportunities, it provides the safest learning environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Countless studies have shown that the safest place for people to gather during the pandemic is outdoors. We are grateful for your support as we work toward ensuring a safe teaching and learning environment.
