From Rent &Tent to Home on Wheels: Help Us Get Our Dream Van

Hey y'all, We're Timothy, Layken, and Linky, a trio of adventurous souls from South Louisiana, who are ready to hit the road full-time! With our furry companion, Lincoln a.k.a. Linky, we’re making the jump from working full-time careers to starting and working on our own small businesses full-time and transitioning from living in a stationary home into a home on wheels, so that we can travel more efficiently and comfortably to be able to pursue our passions and focus on studying, research, growing our businesses, ourselves, our relationship, our community, and to inspire and help others do the same.

A lil bit of our story:

We have been freelance photographers and media creators around Louisiana for a long time now. Recently we’ve started traveling a lot for photography jobs and spending more time away than at our rent house that we currently call home. We go all over the United States, driving thousands of miles each month, then return back to a house. Currently, we travel about 3 weeks out of the month, driving a rental car and sleeping in a tent most of the time, only renting a place to stay when we absolutely have to. It's stressful a lot and we're having to spend a lot of time and energy away from our work and our calling because we're basically living out of a rental car and a tent and hotels and we have to spend so much time traveling back home to a house. While a house as a home is really nice to have and we are so thankful, it has come to the point where it makes more sense to live in a camper van. Living in a stationary house as a home is great and we will definitely miss it, but it has become a hindrance and it takes too much of our time away from growing ourselves and our current ventures, so we decided that it's time to live on the road full-time in a camper van. We will focus our resources away from our rent houses, storage units, and rental cars, and into building a home in an adventure camper van. The camper van will be our home and office while we are working and we will utilize the whole experience to document and tell the stories of our journey on our YouTube and other channels.

Living in a camper van will simplify a lot of our life and allow us to steward our resources most effectively towards our current selves, our goals, our future selves, our community, our audience, our supporters, and our partners. Here are some of our high-level goals that the camper van that you, by your generous donation, help us move into will enable us to pursue with love, excellence, creativity, efficiency, and all of our heart and energy:
