Tensie and Kayson

Hello friends!

We have a mama and a sweet boy that need our help. Kayson is 12 years old and in 7th grade. He has recently been diagnosed with severe regression. An incident happened that has triggered his anxiety and onset OCD to the highest degree, spiraling him into the mental state of toddler/infancy. He is no longer able to feed himself, bathe, walk, or write his name. He is homebound from school. His mother, Tensie, is my childhood best friend. We made a pact when we were teenagers to always take care of each others babies, if the need arose. I can not even fathom watching your baby go from a football playing 12 year old to a sweet boy that is no where near self sufficient. Tensie moved out of Paris and began creating a career for herself in Document Control in the construction industry. Caring and being the sole income to support her 2 children and her mother as a single income household. She is now married and has been placed on unpaid medical leave to care for Kayson. With Cody and Tensie’s household’s incomes dwindling down to one for a household of 5 and insurance being put on pause until new coverage happens. Tensie and Kayson need our help as they face these unchartered waters. Kayson is going to therapy weekly to help with these symptoms until new insurance can go into effect. There is a treatment plan in place as soon as this happens. He will be going into a day treatment program at Children’s Hospital in Dallas as soon as insurance kicks in and Tensie will be staying at the Ronald McDonald house while he receives treatment. Meanwhile, Tensie has no income coming in to offset any of these expenses. Cody’s income should cover the necessities of their household. This family is in the need of major help, prayers, and support.
