Help Me Get to the Majors (Tour Expenses)

My name is Sibi Soumahoro, and I am from Abidjan, Ivory Coast. My love for tennis began when I was seven years old, after watching a tennis match on television. I became curious about the sport and asked my father if I could play. He was supportive but couldn't afford to buy me a racket. Eager to play, I searched the trash cans at a local tennis court and found an old racket that I was able to bring back to life using dead string. It wasn't perfect, but it got the ball over the net.
From the very start, my tennis journey has been an uphill battle, but at the end of the day, I am grateful for my struggles because they have shaped me into the person and player I am today. Currently, I train at JTCC in College Park, Maryland. I'm fortunate to have a team of coaches and mentors working hard to help me reach my dreams of becoming a top pro player. Unfortunately, although I have the necessary support on the court and the discipline, work ethic, and talent needed to reach my dreams, I have been struggling financially to support the costs of becoming a full-time pro player.
The early stages of a professional tennis career are very expensive, with international travel costs, accommodation, equipment, and tournament fees being challenging for me to cover on my own. When I'm not training, I work as a tennis instructor, but it is not enough to support my career.
With all of this being said, I am extremely grateful for any amount of support to help me reach my dreams. Your generosity and kindness will not go unappreciated. I am truly thankful and appreciate all of the love and support.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sibi
