Our 10-year-old dog, Tennessee, was attacked by several dogs at Heather Park. She was bit three times. She is recovering, but the cost was $1,794. One owner offered their info, but she was bleeding and we were so rushed to get her to the vet, we didn't get it. The owner of the dog that attacked first and worst, fled.

It was pointed out to me folks are afraid to come forward for fear their dog will be put down or they will be fined, since about 5-6 dogs also joined in and we weren't sure which one was responsible for the 3rd bite, so I thought I'd create away for folks to contribute anonymously. Of course, anyone can contribute, but I’m hoping the owners of the dogs involved will do the right thing and help us out on the bill.

Anyone who knows Tennessee knows she is the gentlest and most easy-going dog ever. She was literally just walking when the first dog charged her and flipped her over and then the other dogs joined in.

To dog owners, please, if your dog has ever been aggressive, do not take it to off leash dog parks. The vet said another dog the same size was killed this week in a similar attack in the neighbourhood. Be careful out there and thank you, neighbors!
