Tennessee Retina- nashville tornado victims

Thank you for visiting our Tennessee Retina "family" Gofundme site.  We will use this fund to help the TNR employees and their families that had their entire world torn apart on the morning of March 3, 2020, when a deadly tornado ripped through Nashville and the surrounding towns.  By mid-day, we realized we were blessed that all of our TNR family members survived, but we were saddened to learn that several of our employees lost almost everything including their homes.    
 
For over 40 years, the doctors and staff of Tennessee Retina (TNR) have served the communities of central Tennessee and southern Kentucky.  We can proudly say that our employees have helped save the vision and quality of life for tens of thousands of patients through the years.  Our employees are selfless, compassionate and talented caregivers.  Because they have helped so many others through the years, it is now time for all of us to help them in return.   
 
We have set up this fund as a vehicle for compassionate individuals/business partners to help those in need after this traumatic loss.  All donations will be used to immediately help TNR employees with basic living needs like shelter, transportation, food, clothing and health care, etc.  The funds will be overseen by the physicians and managers of TNR and used exclusively for this purpose.  We estimate that they will need $35,000.  If there are any funds remaining after all of our employee's needs are met, we will donate those funds to Community Foundation to help other victims of this disaster.  Please be aware that this fund does NOT have an IRS Not-For-Profit designation and your contributions may not be tax deductible.  If you have questions about that, you should contact your tax adviser.
