Tenley's Extreme Mustang Makeover

Donation protected
I am to very excited announce that I have been accepted to participate in the Extreme Mustang Makeover in Lexington, Kentucky!  This is a contest that takes wild Mustangs and randomly matches them with approved trainers.  I will head to Lebanon, Tennessee on February 20th to pick up my Mustang.

My Mustang will be an untouched female horse between the ages of 3 and 6. The Mustang Heritage Foundation has not yet announced from which herds these Mustangs will be coming.

After picking my Mustang up I will have 100 days (until late June) to gentle and train her and we will then travel to Lexington to compete

As of December 2017, there are almost 10,000 mustangs waiting adoption in holding pens across the country, another 34,000 have been sent to long term holding pastures, and another 72,600 mustangs roam wild.  These numbers are almost triple what the population should be and what their environment can sustain. The plight of the mustangs is a problem with no clear answer. Your support will help raise awareness for these amazing horses and will save one from a life in a long term holding pen or worse.

All funds raised will go directly to the cost of transportation, care and show costs for the mustang. In total I am hoping to raise $5660 in total to aid in the costs. Thank you for your time and your generosity!
