Solo and Dancing in New York!

My name is Brittany and I’m a single parent. My daughter recently turned 12 and would really love to have a solo this next year as well as continue dancing with her groups at Dance Fusion NW and Northwest Classical Ballet. She had to take dance off two years ago from and she would be incredibly grateful to continue dancing and doing her favorite thing in the entire world - the one thing in the world that brings her the most joy. She has endless bounds of energy and dance is her outlet and therapy for sure. She has also earned the opportunity to dance AT New York in April, but all of this will depend on potential scholarships and donations. Dance is truly Tenley's only love outside of her family and friends. It is like air to her, and she puts her all into it. She earned a scholarship this summer to Oregon Ballet Theater's summer dance intensives and will be learning from them for 6 full weeks all day which is a dream come true.

A thoughtful past student and cheerleader asked me to create a GoFundMe that others can donate to if contributing to Tenley is something that you are interested in and able to do.

Tenley's solo this year cost over $3000, annual other dance costs average about $8000, not including costumes or weekly/monthly lessons to learn and clean dances, attend extra conventions or competitions, or travel to any nationals. Tenley is hoping to become a Rockette someday - this is not a recreational sport for Tenley - this is a lifelong dream for her, and I hope that she can keep doing what she loves because it means everything to her. Another option is calling the studio (Dance Fusion NW) directly Mondays - Thursdays, typically from the hours of 3:30pm - 6:30 pm and saying it's for Tenley Lefebvre's solo (credit cards cost an additional fee).
