We are collecting emergency funds for our beloved friend and colleague, Teneka Cornish, and her family. On Friday, June 17th, her house caught fire and as a result all belongings were lost. The house was declared "unliveable" by the fire department. Thus leaving Teneka and her family with the burden of no home, no belongings, and lacking basic needs.

We are raising $10,000 to help with the costs of securing housing, furniture, clothes, etc. for Teneka and her family.

Teneka is often helping out students that are most in need, specifically advocating for foster youth and formerly incarcerated youth. She is a beloved member of the Evergreen Valley College community who is always there to support members of the campus community. Our hope is that the community will now support her during these catastrophic and trying circumstances.
