Hi Family and Friends!
Guess what? I will be 50 on September 19th! If you would have asked me on September 19th, 2011, where do you see your life in ten years? I would have said without hesitation, somewhere in the world serving in a traditional ministry setting; i.e. Pastor of a local congregation, a chaplain, etc.
What I am doing instead is producing a documentary film series entitled, America Unfinished. America Unfinished will use humor to bring laughter and introspection as we travel the nation capturing the stories of everyday progressive and conservative Americans.
The road that led to this film has been one of learning that what we all need in humanity, is unrelenting love. At one point in my life I thought that in order to change the world I could do it alone, through my abilities, status or achievements. I now want to be remembered as someone who made a difference. I’ve renewed my commitment to bring every person I meet “into my existence”. I would like to spend the latter part of my life serving as a conduit for healing, transformation, love and laughter.
A teaser/trailer for the film in partnership with Votary Films in Worcester, MA is already in the process of production. Jed, Luke and their team at Votary have the production skills, values, and guiding principles of our America Unfinished team.
You can help this new filmmaker, and business owner, to have all the equipment and tools I need to ensure the success of America Unfinished.
My ask is that family and friends celebrate my 50th Birthday of September 19th, by contributing towards the purchase of a 27’ iMac, as well as all the necessary filmmaker/editing programs, etc. We begin production on the trailer for America Unfinished this Fall! Our team is creative, passionate and committed to our vision.
It is an exciting season for me! I get to follow my dreams, and express unrelenting love to our nation and world!
