Temporary Support Needed To Overcome Financial Hardship

Hi everyone,

As someone who has always prided myself on being independent and self-sufficient, asking for help is not something that comes easily to me. However, after nearly 20 years of dedication to my career in IT, I was unexpectedly laid off in the middle of November 2024. Since then, I’ve been working tirelessly to secure my next opportunity—actively applying, networking, and attending interviews with various companies. Despite my best efforts, the job search process has been slower than expected, and I’m now facing financial difficulties that I never anticipated.

I have always been an independent and hardworking individual who takes pride in standing on my own two feet. However, despite my relentless job search and a few promising interviews, I find myself facing financial difficulties as my savings diminish and unemployment benefits only go so far.

I’m reaching out for support to help cover my essential living expenses—rent, utilities, and day-to-day costs—while I continue my search for the right position. My goal is not long-term reliance but simply to get through this tough period without falling behind. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a tremendous difference and help ease the burden until I secure my next role.
