Vitalina and her family need help.
Vitalina and her family are from Ukraine. Their son, Aaron, was born in the capital city of Kyiv just eight days before Russia’s full-scale invasion began. In the early days of the war, their hometown of Irpin (near Kyiv) was occupied by Russian soldiers. To survive, they had no choice but to flee the country.
She is a cybersecurity analyst with years of experience and has been working to protect U.S. critical infrastructure from real threats. She has a Master’s degree in Information Security, has worked legally under Ukrainian Humanitarian Parole (UHP), and has consistently gone above and beyond in her role. Her work has kept sensitive systems secure, supported compliance for critical infrastructure, and helped prevent serious breaches.
Now, her work authorization has expired. She and her family remain in the U.S. legally while their Temporary Protected Status application is being processed, but her work authorization is currently awaiting renewal. Until that is approved, she is unable to earn the income her family has been relying on as their primary source of financial support.
Vitalina continues to stay current in the cybersecurity field through ongoing training and professional development, ensuring she’s ready to step back into her role the moment her work authorization is approved. Her husband is also using this time to further his education and build skills in 3D modeling and animation so he can continue to contribute to their family’s future.
This fundraiser is to help Vitalina, her husband, and their son cover essential expenses like rent, food, and bills while she waits for her documents to be processed. It will also help pay for the legal fees required from working with an immigration lawyer to expedite the work authorization process.
Her job is still waiting for her, and as soon as the paperwork is processed, she’ll be back to work providing for her family. This is about helping someone who has already proven her value stay on her feet through a temporary setback she cannot control.
Any support you give goes directly to survival and stability. Thank you for helping.
