Templeton Family Needs Your Prayers and Aid

Hello Friends, I would like to introduce you to a family that is very dear to my heart, Garry and Sharon Templeton of Denison, Texas. This past week, they received the hard news that Garry was diagnosed with Mesothelioma. To say it simply, they are struggling and need help and are deserving. Let me tell you more...

Garry and Sharon came into my life a short time ago but have made such a huge impact on me. I'll never forget the first time meeting them both. Sharon stands 5 feet tall on a good day, and I promise if I'm going into a battle with the devil himself and can only take one person, I'm taking Sharon. She is as strong of a woman as I have ever witnessed, and Garry still adores her just as much as he did when he met and married her in 1967. These are hardworking, God-fearing people. The type of people who live life by God's rules first and foremost, and you can see it in every aspect of their lives. They put themselves last, offer to help first, and have gone without countless times after helping others in need.

In just the last 7 months, Garry has been hospitalized 15 times. Multiple nights and long stretches along the way to help improve his health only to find each trip just gets harder. Sharon has her own health problems that she needs to stay on top of, but that proves to be a challenge for a woman who puts the priority on being the wife God intended her to be, and knowing her husband needs her. She has "slept" countless nights in the recliner at the hospital next to Garry's side, all while needing a good night's rest of her own to deal with the decisions and difficulties the next day would bring.

My only hope with this GoFundMe is that it may be an opportunity to really help two people who are deserving. If you feel inclined to give, know that every penny will be considered a blessing to this family and will be treated as such. Any monies donated will be set up to go directly to Sharon and Garry's bank to help with foreseen and unforeseen medical expenses related to healthcare, prescriptions, and palliative care needed.
