Temple One Act Play - State Bound
Donation protected
Temple High School's theatre program is returning to the State Tournament May 26 to 28 at Austin's Bass Concert Hall and looks to win their 2nd State Championship with their performance of Sam Shepard's "Buried Child."
We are seeking donations from family, friends and lovers of theatre to insure these hard-working students have an unforgettable experience at state.
All donations will be applied towards meals and associated travel expenses for 39 students and the theatre faculty. Making state in theatre is one of the most challenging feats in UIL and we want to reward these students for their hard work, dedication and accomplishments.
The League's One-Act Play Contest, founded in 1927, is the largest high school play production contest or play festival in the world. More than 14,000 Texas high school students in more than 1,000 plays participate in 300 plus contests, which take place from the beginning of March through the three-day, 40-production State Meet One-Act Play Contest.
In addition to providing our students a memorable experience, we want to recognize the leadership team of Natasha Tolleson, Brandon Goodman and Bradlee LaMotte. This faculty team has dedicated countless hours and personal resources to help our students achieve excellence on the stage and in the classroom.
